Maxion's single-mode inventory laser products usually have uncoated facets. Wavelength selectivity is achieved via coupling of the laser cavity modes to device-integrated grating structures. Side mode suppression ratios typically range between 25 and 30 dB. Line widths of free-running DFB IC lasers have been measured below 100 MHz. The emission wavelength of Maxion’s DFB IC and QC lasers can be current- and/or temperature-tuned, and data sheets of inventory devices provide relevant tuning data.
